25829 (2026). Hon Kieran McAnulty to the Minister of Housing: How many, if any, new upgraded homes for families in need did Kāinga Ora deliver, on average, every working day since 30 June 2025?

Hon Chris Bishop: Kāinga Ora – Homes and Communities advise me that 997 new deliveries (redevelopments and new builds) have been completed in the current financial year up to 31 May 2026, equating to 4 (4.33) on average per working day. Additionally, 408 retrofits have been completed in FY2026 up to 31 May 2026, equating to 2 (1.77) delivered on average per working day.
