25828 (2026). Hon Kieran McAnulty to the Minister of Housing: How many, if any, individuals or families did Kāinga Ora place from the housing register, on average, every working day since 30 June 2025?

Hon Chris Bishop: Kāinga Ora - Homes and Communities advises me that between 1 July 2025 and 31 May 2026, 6,162 tenancies (15,550 people) commenced from the MSD housing register, equating to an average of 27 tenancies and 69 people per working day.
