25818 (2026). Ricardo Menéndez March to the Minister of Housing: Will any units at the Secretariat Place Kainga Ora complex be sold as part of the redevelopment works, if so, how many?

Hon Chris Bishop: There are currently two homes on the Secretariat Place site, which are planned to be transferred to local iwi who will relocate the homes. If this does not proceed, the existing homes will be demolished as part of the redevelopment. All new homes built as part of the redevelopment will be retained for public housing.
