25770 (2026). Dr Lawrence Xu-Nan to the Minister of Education: What, if anything, is the average cost to upgrade to solar energy generation and usage for state and state-integrated schools (e.g., installing solar panels)?

Hon Erica Stanford: The Ministry of Education (the Ministry) does not hold this information. As part of the Solar on Schools programme, the Ministry and the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Authority (EECA) will be shortly releasing a survey to all schools that already have solar installed to understand existing systems, funding arrangements and operational experience. This is also my response to written parliamentary question 25771 and 25772 (2026).
