25766 (2026). Dr Lawrence Xu-Nan to the Minister of Education: What schools, if any, are being prioritised through the Solar on Schools programme to receive support for installation?

Hon Erica Stanford: The information sought by the Member is not collated by the Ministry of Education in a way that is readily reportable in the timeframe available to respond to written parliamentary questions. Schools will be prioritised who: • are experiencing energy or fuel insecurity • are facing higher energy costs • are scheduled for gas or diesel boiler replacements • have a need for greater resilience • are solar-ready, with roofs suitable for solar panels to be installed.
