25750 (2026). Vanushi Walters to the Minister of Foreign Affairs: What discussions, if any, has the Minister or officials had with foreign counterparts regarding cooperation on ground-based space infrastructure in the Pacific region since 1 January 2026, by date and location?

Rt Hon Winston Peters: We have not had any formal engagements on ground-based space infrastructure with Pacific counterparts. Officials routinely engage with Pacific counterparts on the strategic infrastructure issues including ground-based space infrastructure.
