25746 (2025). Hon Barbara Edmonds to the Minister of Conservation: What new user charges, if any, will be introduced by the Minister’s responsible agencies, if any, in 2025/26, and for each of these what is the total amount expected to be collected?

Hon Tama Potaka: A new user charge pilot will be run in 2025/26 charging for the use of car parks at three locations: • Punakaiki Pancake Rocks Car Park • Franz Josef Glacier Car Park • White Horse Hill Car Park at Aoraki/Mount Cook National Park The Department of Conservation has not yet finalised its 2025/26 revenue budgets and is currently reviewing its forecasts of user charges revenue.
