Hon Simon Watts: Officials advise that Inland Revenue does not have a specific amount of funding in the Vote Revenue departmental baseline allocated to Artificial Intelligence (AI). Funding for AI initiatives are considered on a case-by-case basis, and existing budgets are reprioritised as decisions are made to implement particular tools or training.
