25694 (2025). Hon Barbara Edmonds to the Minister for Pacific Peoples: How many permanent staff, if any, were employed within each of the Minister’s responsible agencies, if any, during 2023/24 financial year?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised by the Ministry for Pacific Peoples that between 1 July 2023 and 30 June 2024, 165 people were permanent employees of the Ministry. This includes employees that started with the Ministry prior to the financial year and employees that resigned within that time period. Highest headcount of permanent staff for this year was in March 2024 at 122 individuals employed.
