Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for Energy: How much, if any, is the total budget in the Minister's departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, for the 2026/27 financial year on artificial intelligence- including costs on training staff, deploying systems, maintaining subscriptions and any other associated costs?

Hon Simeon Brown: EECA: EECA has budgeted a total of $91,350 for artificial intelligence for the 2026/27 financial year. This is the approved budget for EECA’s Open AI ChatGPT Enterprise subscription. EA: The 2026/27 financial year budget has not yet been approved, however the draft budget contains a total of $315,000. $122,000 for Microsoft Copilot licences $180,000 for Subsense consultation analysis support tool $12,829 for Lexis Nexis
