Hon Brooke van Velden: The Department of Internal Affairs (the Department) I am advised by the Department that 2,558 permanent staff were employed during the 2023/24 financial year. The Lotteries Commission I am advised that 214 permanent staff were employed during the 2023/24 financial year. Fire and Emergency New Zealand As published in Fire and Emergency’s annual review, there were 2951.1 permanent staff at the organisation in the 2023/24 year. Office of Film and Literature Classification I am advised that 25 permanent staff were employed during the 2023/24 financial year.
