25632 (2026). Glen Bennett to the Minister for Tourism and Hospitality: What analysis, if any, has she requested on Centrix's finding that hospitality businesses are more than three times as likely to end up in liquidation as the average New Zealand business?

Hon Louise Upston: I have not commissioned any specific analysis of the Centrix report referred to. I maintain regular engagement with the hospitality sector to hear directly about current operating environments. This includes meetings with hospitality businesses and the Hospitality Summits hosted at Parliament in 2024 and 2026.
