25542 (2025). Hon Barbara Edmonds to the Minister of Customs: How many permanent staff, if any, were employed within each of the Minister’s responsible agencies, if any, during 2022/23 financial year?

Hon Casey Costello: I refer the member to the attached appendix which contains the total number of permanent staff employed at the New Zealand Customs Service (Customs) for the 2022/23, 2023/24 and 2024/25 financial years, broken down by financial year and total. This response is inclusive of the staff of the Border Executive Board Secretariat as these staff are considered employees of the New Zealand Customs Service.
