25535 (2025). Hon Barbara Edmonds to the Minister for Children: How many permanent staff, if any, were employed within each of the Minister’s responsible agencies, if any, during 2024/25 financial year?

Hon Karen Chhour: I am advised by Oranga Tamariki that they compile workforce statistics at the end of each calendar month. As at 30 April 2025, Oranga Tamariki employed 4,554 permanent staff.
