25514 (2026). Camilla Belich to the Minister of Customs: Is the New Zealand Customs Service's Child Exploitation Operations Team exempt from the government's public servant job number cuts?

Hon Casey Costello: The Government announced measures to transform the public service as part of Budget 2026 on 28 May 2026. I am advised that Customs is considering the implications of the transformation programme and that Customs has not disestablished any roles as a consequence of the savings announced in Budget 2026. This is also my response to Written Parliamentary Question 25519 (2026).
