Hon Simeon Brown: While no document titled “line-by-line review” was produced as part of the Budget 2025 process, I can assure the Member that our Government took a fiscally responsible approach, carefully examining spending across all areas of the portfolio to ensure value for money and to avoid the waste and inefficiency New Zealanders saw under the previous government.
