25277 (2025). Hon Barbara Edmonds to the Prime Minister: Did the Minister or their Office produce a portfolio savings summary for their portfolio as part of the Budget 2025 process, and if so, was this summary provided to the Minister of Finance or her Office?

Rt Hon Christopher Luxon: As Prime Minister, I am the Vote Minister for Vote Prime Minister and Cabinet and the responsible Minister for the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet (DPMC). The National Emergency Management Agency is a departmental agency hosted by DPMC. I am advised that a portfolio savings summary for all portfolios in the Vote was prepared and provided to the Minister of Finance as part of the Budget 2025 process.
