Hon Erica Stanford: The amount of capital expenditure the Ministry of Education budgeted for 2024/25 is $1,982m. Please refer to section 1.2 Trends in the Vote in the Estimates of Appropriations 2025/26 for more information, available at https://view.officeapps.live.com/op/view.aspx?src=https%3A%2F%2Fbudget.govt.nz%2Fbudget%2Fdocs%2Festimates%2Fv2%2Fest25-v2-educ.doc&wdOrigin=BROWSELINK. Education New Zealand had allocated $145,000 to lifecycle replacement of furniture, office equipment and computer hardware, leasehold improvements and make-good during the 2024/25 financial year. The New Zealand Qualifications Authority originally allocated $250,000 to leasehold property related capital works during the 2024/25 financial year, of which $71,000 has been spent. ERO has a capital budget of $1.224 million in 2024/25.
