Hon Brooke van Velden: As part of the Budget 2025 process, I received the following documents from the Department of Internal Affairs in relation to the review of the Internal Affairs portfolio’s appropriations and activities, proposed savings and potential impacts: • Appropriation history, Crown funding movement since 2017, Deep Dive into key Departmental appropriations, and Possible Savings Options (18 December 2024); • Results of further evaluation of services provided by the Department to identity additional baseline savings (23 January 2025); • Budget 25 options for savings within national archival and library services (3 February 2025); and • Continuing the Preservation of at-risk Crown Heritage Collections (21 March 2025).
