25116 (2026). Camilla Belich to the Minister for the Community and Voluntary Sector: Will the Minister undertake a review of current and former staff members’ private email accounts to identify any official information that should be on the public record; if not, why not?
Hon Louise Upston: My current staff have conducted a search of their personal email accounts to identify if any official information should be on the public record due to a recent official information act request, and they have advised my that there are no such emails. In relation to former staff I am not able to contact all of them and therefore I will be unable to check with them however given previous official information act requests which asked similar questions which resulted in a response that stated only information such as draft press releases, draft media social posts and documents to be printed whilst travelling I am confident that there is no information held in their personal emails that should be in the public record.
