24876 (2026). Tamatha Paul to the Minister for Tourism and Hospitality: What is the total amount of funding approved under the Major Events and Tourism Package in 2025/26, and how much has been allocated to each individual event?

Hon Louise Upston: The MBIE website contains a list of events funded by the Event Attraction Package and the Events Boost Fund announced to date: https://www.mbie.govt.nz/immigration-and-tourism/tourism/tourism-funding. The funding amounts for the Events Boost Fund will be published in the near future, however individual investments under the Events Attraction Package will not be released as they are commercially sensitive.
