Hon Mark Mitchell: I am advised that the additional one-off funding in the 2027/28 financial year is intended to address Police’s cost pressures accumulating across the 2026/27 and 2027/28 financial years, driven by: • Price pressures – including contracts for services, information technology, property, fleet and operational travel • Volume pressures – including forensic testing, digital storage and operational demands • Wage pressures – including future employee wage pressures.
