Hon Tama Potaka: This question relates to the periods before and after the transfer of the Māori Crown Relations functions to Te Puni Kōkiri on 24 February 2025. For the period 1 November 2024 until 24 February 2025, I am advised that Te Puni Kōkiri consulted Ministry of Justice as it does not hold this information. The Ministry of Justice response is the flowing advice I received from Te Arawhiti is: 13 December 2024 - Budget 2025 Submission; Budget 2025 - Tagged Contingency – loss-on-sale for commercial redress properties offered to Maratūāhu Iwi Collective; Budget 2025 – Cost Pressures – Treaty of Settlements – final; and 23 December 2024 - Budget 2025 – Ministerial Letter – Minister Potaka.
