Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for Māori Development: How many roles, if any, were disestablished in the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, between 30 May 2024 and 22 May 2025, listed by job title and number of roles under each job title?

Hon Tama Potaka: I refer the member to the Fiscal Sustainability and Effectiveness Decision Document, 20 June 2024, which was publicly released by Te Puni Kōkiri on its website and available here: https://www.tpk.govt.nz/en/mo-te-puni-kokiri/corporate-documents/corporate-publications/strategic-intentions/fiscal-sustainability-and-effectiveness-decision-d In addition I am advised by Te Puni Kōkiri that the 'Governance Puni - Realignment for Strategic Impact' resulted in the disestablishment of the following five positions: - Manager, Ministerial Services - Manager, Governance. - 2 x Principal Advisor, Statutory Entities & Appointments - Senior Advisor, Statutory Entities & Appointments.
