Hon Tama Potaka: This question relates to the periods before and after the transfer of the Māori Crown Relations functions to Te Puni Kōkiri on 24 February 2025. For the period 30 May 2024 until 24 February 2025, I am advised that Te Puni Kōkiri consulted Ministry of Justice as it does not hold this information. The Ministry of Justice response is the net change in roles between 30 May 2024 and 24 February 2025 cannot be determined, as there is no position management system in place to track such changes. For the period since 24 February 2025, I refer the Member to my answer to written question 24760 (2025).
