24705 (2025). Hon Barbara Edmonds to the Minister of Conservation: What time limited funding, if any, does the Minister’s responsible agencies, if any, face following budget 2025?

Hon Tama Potaka: Through Budget 2025 the Department of Conservation received $32m of time-limited IVL funding. In 2023/24 the Department of Conservation returned $32 million of IVL funding to the centre because of the revenue tracking approach. At Budget 2025, Ministers agreed to fund this shortfall from the Budget 2025 operating allowance. This additional funding is time-limited over four years for existing committed projects.
