Hon Erica Stanford: I have interpreted roles created as those which are newly established as part of organisational change. The Ministry of Education created 483 roles between 30 May 2024 and 22 May 2025. Education New Zealand created 18 roles between 30 May 2024 and 22 May 2025. NZQA created 49.5 positions between 30 May 2024 and 22 May 2025. The Education Review Office created 12 new roles. Data on the newly established positions within Education agencies can be found in the attached table.
