Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Corrections: How many roles, if any, were created in the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, between 30 May 2024 and 22 May 2025, listed by job title and number of roles under each job title?

Hon Mark Mitchell: I am advised that the member’s question has been interpreted to refer to roles created as part of a formal change process. I am further advised that, in addition to these roles, Corrections may create or remove positions as part of their business-as-usual (BAU) processes. This could be for several reasons, including, but not limited to, reflecting current funding, reallocation of funding to other areas, or the conclusion of projects the positions were funded to complete. I am further advised that in April 2024, Corrections’ Finance Business Partnering team underwent a minor change process to ensure their team’s structure was fit for purpose. The change resulted in the disestablishment of one role and adjusted reporting lines and duties for other roles within the team, two of which were disestablished and re-established with different job titles. I refer the member to the attached table, which shows the number of roles established as part of a change process between 30 May 2024 and 22 May 2025, broken down by job title and change process.
