Hon Scott Simpson: Five redundancy processes were initiated, with one of those processes including a voluntary redundancy process for impacted staff between 27 November 2023 and 22 May 2025. As there are no separate flags in the ACC payroll system to separate voluntary redundancy from redundancy, the total cost in New Zealand dollar terms must be given as a whole. There were 148 redundancies between 27 November 2023 and 22 May 2025, with the total cost being $5,369,709.71.
