24571 (2025). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Statistics: How much, if any, has been budgeted for the Carbon Neutral Government Programme in the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any for the 1 July 2025 – 30 June 2026 financial year?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised that Stats NZ has budgeted $8,000 for independent verification of their carbon emissions to meet the requirements of the Carbon Neutral Government Programme (CNGP) for the 2025/2026 financial year.
