24559 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Prime Minister: Of any proposed redundancies to their responsible agencies to meet the a public sector saving initiative, if any, how many directly provide a service to customers, as at 30 May 2024?

Rt Hon Christopher Luxon: In my capacity as the Prime Minister, I am the Responsible Minister for the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet (DPMC). There were no redundancies arising from the Government’s fiscal sustainability programme in the DPMC that directly provided a service to customers as at 30 May 2024.
