24496 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister for Social Development and Employment: Of any proposed redundancies to their responsible agencies to meet a public sector saving initiative, if any, how many indirectly provide a service to customers, as at 30 May 2024?

Hon Louise Upston: I am advised by the Ministry of Social Development that all business groups indirectly provide service to clients. There are proposed redundancies in four business groups (People and Capability; Organisational Assurance and Communication; Strategy and Insights and Transformation), proposing a net reduction of 97 positions.
