24495 (2025). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for Workplace Relations and Safety: How much, if any, has been budgeted for the Carbon Neutral Government Programme in the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any for the 1 July 2025 – 30 June 2026 financial year?

Hon Brooke van Velden: I am advised that WorkSafe New Zealand has budgeted for one full-time employee to compile the emissions inventory, deliver CNGP reporting obligations, and implement emissions reduction initiatives. In addition to this, WorkSafe has allocated $31,000 to Toitū for access to their expertise, systems and for audit purposes including certification.
