Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Revenue: How much, if any, has been budgeted for the Carbon Neutral Government Programme in the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any for the 1 July 2025 – 30 June 2026 financial year?

Hon Simon Watts: Inland Revenue has allocated $40,000 for the Carbon Neutral Government Programme in the 2025/26 financial year. This amount is set aside for the expenses related to mandatory annual Carbon Verification Audit.
