Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for Social Development and Employment: What specific instructions, directions or advice, if any, have been issued in the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, regarding employment contract matters for the 2025/26 financial year, listed by title and date?

Hon Louise Upston: I am advised by the Ministry of Social Development that the preparation and management of employment contracts is largely managed in-house at agency level. The Public Service Commissions provides guidance to agencies on collective bargaining negotiations in the form of Government Workforce Policy Statements as well as specific instructions.
