Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Revenue: What specific instructions, directions or advice, if any, have been issued in the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, regarding employment contract matters for the 2025/26 financial year, listed by title and date?

Hon Simon Watts: Officials advise that in August 2024, Inland Revenue received the updated Government Workforce Policy Statement (GWPS) setting out the Government’s expectations for employment relations in the public sector. Delegation advice supporting the interpretation of the GWPS was also received in August and December 2024.
