Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for Land Information: What restructures, if any, are planned for the 2025/26 financial year in the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, listed by when this may occur, how much is budgeted for restructuring costs and estimated savings to be accrued as a result of restructuring?

Hon Chris Penk: Land Information New Zealand has no organisation-wide restructuring planned for 2025/26. It is likely that smaller, targeted changes and realignments will be required to increase the efficiency and quality of services and respond to changes in work programme. Budgeting (including any forecast savings) is carried out as part of the planning for any change processes.
