24408 (2025). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Justice: How much, if any, has been budgeted for the Carbon Neutral Government Programme in the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any for the 1 July 2025 – 30 June 2026 financial year?

Hon Paul Goldsmith: The Ministry of Justice has budgeted for an emissions audit as per the requirement of the Carbon Neutral Government Programme at a cost of $6800. There is a budget of $1550 to carry out an annual waste audit at the Justice Centre. Therefore, a total of $8350 has been allocated. For the Crown entities that I am the responsible Minister for, I am advised there is no budget allocated for this programme.
