Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Internal Affairs: What restructures, if any, are planned for the 2025/26 financial year in the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, listed by when this may occur, how much is budgeted for restructuring costs and estimated savings to be accrued as a result of restructuring?

Hon Brooke van Velden: The Department of Internal Affairs (the Department) I am advised by the Department that beyond the completion of the organisational change process currently in progress, no further restructuring is planned for the 2025/26 financial year. The Lotteries Commission I am advised that collating the information requested requires substantial collation and cannot be provided in the timeframe to respond to the Written Question. Fire and Emergency New Zealand No restructures are currently underway, however Fire and Emergency will consider all options to achieve efficiencies and make savings/ Office of Film and Literature Classification None.
