Hon Brooke van Velden: The Department of Internal Affairs (the Department) I am advised by the Department that nine organisational change processes that have resulted in redundancies have been initiated between 27 November 2023 and 22 May 2025. The total cost of redundancies is $4,557,503. The Lotteries Commission I am advised that collating the information requested requires substantial collation and cannot be provided in the timeframe to respond to the Written Question. Fire and Emergency New Zealand I am advised by Fire and Emergency New Zealand that over the period in question seven employees were made redundant at a cost of $357,754.
