24386 (2026). Dr Tracey McLellan to the Minister of Corrections: What portion of the additional operating funding provided through Vote Corrections 2026/27, if any, is attributable to inflationary cost pressures, expressed in both dollar terms and as a percentage of the total additional operating funding?

Hon Mark Mitchell: I am advised that only the fuel initiative is attributable to inflationary cost pressures, and this is limited to a single year. This is one percent of the total additional operating funding for Corrections in Budget 2026 (excluding tagged contingencies).
