24375 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister for Land Information: Of any proposed redundancies to their responsible agencies to meet a public sector saving initiative, if any, how many indirectly provide a service to customers, as at 30 May 2024?

Hon Chris Penk: As part of its ongoing operating and fiscal review, I understand that Toitū Te Whenua Land Information New Zealand (LINZ) has three confirmed redundancies, has proposed the disestablishment of an additional four roles which may lead to redundancies (subject to consultation with staff and final decisions) and disestablished 54 vacant roles. The majority of these roles provide services for internal customers or other public agencies.
