24365 (2025). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Foreign Affairs: How much, if anything, is being budgeted in the 2025/26 financial year for redundancy payments, severance or other termination packages in the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, and how much has been budgeted and spent in the past five financial years?

Rt Hon Winston Peters: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Antarctica New Zealand, and the Asia New Zealand Foundation have not budgeted in the 2025-26 financial year, or in any of the past five financial years, for redundancy payments, severance, or other termination packages. For the amount spent for redundancy payments, severance, or other termination packages at the Ministry and Antarctica New Zealand in the past five financial years, I refer the Member to my response to WPQ 24360 (2025).
