24359 (2026). Hon Phil Twyford to the Minister of Immigration: What advice or updates, if any, did the Minister receive about the Accredited Employment Work Visa during the week of May 11th, 2026?

Hon Erica Stanford: In the week commencing May 11th 2026, my office received information in relation to the number of AEWV holders who have already, or who are due to, meet the end of their maximum continuous stay, the number of individuals who are unlawfully in New Zealand by their overstay duration, a general AEWV update and the timeliness and statistics updates on AEWV in the weekly report.
