Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for the Environment: How much, if any, has been budgeted for the Carbon Neutral Government Programme in the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any for the 1 July 2025 – 30 June 2026 financial year?

Hon Penny Simmonds: The budget allocated to the Carbon Neutral Government Programme for the 2025/26 financial year is subject to the Ministry for the Environment's internal business planning process and is not yet confirmed. The Environmental Protection Authority has budgeted $3,000 in 2025/26 for Toitu Envirocare certification.
