Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Corrections: What restructures, if any, are planned for the 2025/26 financial year in the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, listed by when this may occur, how much is budgeted for restructuring costs and estimated savings to be accrued as a result of restructuring?

Hon Mark Mitchell: I am advised that Corrections reports this information through the Annual Review and Estimates select committee processes. I am further advised that information for the 2025/26 financial year will be provided by Corrections as part of the upcoming supplementary Estimates questionnaire, specifically the response to questions 7, which will be available on Corrections’ website in due course here: https://www.corrections.govt.nz/resources/strategic_reports/select_committees.
