Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Conservation: What specific instructions, directions or advice, if any, have been issued in the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, regarding employment contract matters for the 2025/26 financial year, listed by title and date?

Hon Tama Potaka: The Department of Conservation advises me that it received the following advice in 2024/2025 that it expects will apply for the 2025/26 year: • The Government Workforce Policy Statement (7 August 2024) • A letter from the Public Service Commissioner regarding additional conditions on the collective bargaining delegation (20 December 2024) • Flexible Working (Work from Home) Guidance (12 December 2024) In addition, the Department’s Chief People Officer also attends fortnightly Heads of HR meetings with the Public Service Commission, and ad hoc advice is often provided in this forum.
