Hon Chris Bishop: $1.773M is provided for Cambridge to Piarere in Budget 2026. The full cost of the project will include a contribution from the National Land Transport Fund (NLTF). As the project is yet to be tendered, it is considered that the NLTF component is commercially sensitive and I do not consider it appropriate to release the expected NLTF contribution at this time. Construction is expected to begin in 2027 and anticipated to be completed by 2033/34
