Tangi Utikere to the Minister of Transport: What is the actual versus forecast delivery progress and cost of each Road of National Significance funded in previous Budgets, if any, broken down by agency, department, Crown entity, company, or other organisation for which the Minister is responsible?

Hon Chris Bishop: The current Roads of National Significance Programme was established through GPS 2024. Since its establishment, the only project to receive funding through Budget is the Cambridge to Piarere Project, with $1.773m provided through Budget 2026 to support delivery.
