Rt Hon Winston Peters: Budget 2026 provides a total cost of NZ$20 million for the Pacific Islands Forum 2027 - Hosting Costs initiative. Several agencies will incur costs, including the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, New Zealand Police, the New Zealand Defence Force, and the Department of Internal Affairs. These costs include event management services, accommodation, venue hire, security services, VIP and transport services, hospitality, communications, additional office space, and IT support.
